Haha okay so i wanted to do something a little theatrical with this one, i've always looked at the mad hatter (in this series) and wondered what he might have looked like before he went mad, so i included a hint of his former life before he became twisted and maniacal..
Even as i'm posting it there's 347307397578645 things i would have done differently but that's how i improve for next time right?
Oh and i totally made the hat i couldn't help myself, although i did combine it with the original shape of the mad hatter's hat so it's an interpretation
i'm hoping to squeeze one more look in before i move oh and i'll be adding an Australia Day look as well which is coming up in a few days.
I've been looking forward to doing this series so so so much!!! i loved playing the games, they are amazing, the scenery is so creative and imaginative along with the storyline and i highly recommend them!
I actually ended up doing this look twice because i was really disappointed with how the first one came out, nothing how i wanted it, but i persisted and this one came out a lot better. Oh and it's times like this i wish i could just shave off my hair for a look then it just grow back again lol.
Anyway i hope you guys like it, i have another look coming up hopefully on Monday or Tuesday
(oh and i realise the belt is around my neck and not my arms, the belt i bought wasn't long enough so that was the next best thing.. )
Happy New Year!! well.. not quite, there's still 11 hours to go here until midnight but i'll be out celebrating and this is the only chance i'll have to post my look
New Years from Australia. I wanted to do something more than just fireworks so i thought an Australian version might be nice. I wanted to do the Sydney Harbour bridge but ended up doing the Opera House instead (they're almost right next to each other so just pretend the bridge is there somewhere )
This was so much fun, i was actually sad to take it off, i nearly considered walking downtown with it on my eye lol.
Products used: mostly Sugarpill, Lime Crime and NYX (as always).
I hope your new year goes off with a bang, i'll see you guys in the future!!
My name is Rachel Clarke, i'm 23, from Australia and i'm an amateur that loves messing around with my makeup kit!|
For me, makeup allows me to express my creativity. When i'm wearing it, it makes me feel more confident, not because i feel prettier, but because i feel in control of the way i want to look and it makes me feel proud.
I created this page to show off my designs, however you can also find me on Makeupbee (Rachel C.), Blogger (mrralphie's madhouse), instagram (mrralphiesmadhouse), twitter (mrralphiee) and preen.me (Rachel. C).
Thank you for all of the wonderful, generous comments you guys leave me, i don't always have the time to respond, but i definitely appreciate them and read them all!
